"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library" - Jorge Luis Borges, Argentine poet, essayist, and short-story writer
And on these wintry days don't we all need a bit of paradise?
Somewhere warm and comfortable to curl up with a good book.
A library in a home can offer just that sort of escape.

A library doesn't have to be large, it doesn't even have to be a dedicated room. It can be the corner of a room, shelving under a window seat, a cosy nook or cranny.
Aside from the mental stimulation a library provides, visually it adds to a home too with colour and texture, interest and layers. In my opinion there's nothing quite like a full wall of books with a beautiful ladder to access them.
So let's celebrate the library in all its shapes and forms. In this day and age when life can seem so busy, a library really can be your own piece of paradise.
